Here’s how to use our Google books account.
Go to Google books
Click on “my library”
At top right sign in using this information
email: [email protected]
password: Falcons1!
Click on “books” then “Google eBooks”
Select your book, such as “Lord of the Flies” and then “read now”
Use the tools at the top right of the webpage to highlight, make notes, and search the text.

Two warnings:
- remember, for your research, that the eBook may not have the the same page numbers as your own book. If you need to cite a page number, you’ll have to find that section in your hard copy book
- If you would like to use the highlighting and note-taking tools, please respect that there are other users for this same book. For now, we’ll restrict users to four people. Please choose a colour for your own highlighting by typing your name beside that colour below:
